PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT
The Advisor Institute is a unique professional development opportunity for teachers and educators to learn Model United Nations.
MUN SKILLS TRAINING
Educators learn how to teach key MUN skills, including research, public speaking, resolution writing, negotiation, and rules of procedure.
CLUB & CONFERENCE PLANNING
Educators gain tools to help them and their student leaders plan their MUN clubs and conferences for the upcoming school year.
STUDENT LEADERSHIP
Educators gain tools for developing their student leaders and create sustainable, student-led MUN programs.
STANDARDS ALIGNMENT
Educators learn how MUN supports Common Core, International Baccalaureate, and Advanced Placement, and gain example unit plans and lesson plans that are standards-aligned.
OPTIONAL CERTIFICATION EXAM
Educators have the opportunity to take an optional certification exam that tests their MUN knowledge and, upon passing, receive Best Delegate MUN Advisor Certification.
GEORGETOWN UNIVERSITY
The Advisor Institute takes place at Georgetown University and educators have the option of staying in campus dorms.
BEST DELEGATE CO-FOUNDERS
The Advisor Institute is led by Best Delegate’s co-founders Ryan Villanueva and Kevin Felix Chan, each of whom have 17+ years MUN experience from high school through college and now as educators.

PASSIONATE, PROFESSIONAL STAFF
Our staff is led by full time professional Model United Nations trainers who are passionate about helping students gain confidence and learn Model UN.
PERSONALIZED INSTRUCTION
Our program provides a small group setting (1 to 12 ratio) which means students obtain personal feedback on public speaking, position papers, and resolution writing.
ADVANCED MODEL UN RESOURCES
Our students receive exclusive resources that prepare them step-by-step for MUN conferences.
INTERACTIVE EDUCATIONAL CURRICULUM
Our day to day includes lectures, simulations, feedback, and free time. Our programs culminate in a final full day Model UN simulation.
